Newcastle have been one of the clubs linked with Limbombe in recent windows, after he impressed in Belgian football last season. He had a hand in 13 goals as he helped Brugge win the Belgian top division.
The Toon are expected to complete deals for AS Monaco left-back Antonio Barreca and Atlanta United playmaker Miguel Almiron, while talks reportedly continue for Benfica midfielder Andreas Samaris.
