Newcastle United are in action against Everton tonight, and can continue their pursuit of a top half finish after a superb run of form.

The Magpies have won four games in a row, beating Southampton, Huddersfield Town, Leicester City and Arsenal to guarantee their Premier League status for next season, with manager Rafael Benitez now no doubt looking for new additions.

Much will depend on how much Mike Ashley is willing to invest in new signings this summer, but reports suggest that Benitez already has his sights set on a new striker.

The Sun report that Benitez wants to land Bournemouth striker Josh King this summer, and is ready to offer around £20million to sign the former Manchester United youngster.

King, 26, has hit six goals in 30 Premier League outings this season, failing to really kick on from his 16-goal campaign last term, but has still seemingly done enough to impress Benitez.

Newcastle fans have been taking to Twitter to react to the rumours, suggesting that King caused ‘massive problems’ against the Magpies earlier this season, and would be ideal for Benitez’s side.

Others simply believe he would be a better option than Joselu, and would like to see the Magpies sell Aleksandar Mitrovic in order to fund a move for King and boost the Newcastle attack ahead of next season.
