The Magpies weren’t being given much of a chance as they headed away to an in-form Leicester side, but the extent of their humiliation was a real shock.
Ricardo Pereira was somehow allowed to saunter forward from right back to score a left-footed opener, before Isaac Hayden was given a straight red card for a rash challenge on Dennis Praet.
Unsurprisingly, Newcastle were blown away with 10 men, as Jamie Vardy scored a brace, finding the net either side of a Paul Dummett own goal before Wilfred Ndidi added a fifth.
Newcastle couldn’t even muster a shot on target in what was a shocking performance, and a host of players have been criticised for their displays at the King Power Stadium.
Right back Emil Krafth is one of them, as the Swede continues to struggle in the Premier League having been signed from Amiens last month.
Krafth has yet to show that he’s any better than DeAndre Yedlin or even Javi Manquillo, and fans have been taking to Twitter to slate his performance in the 5-0 defeat.
Fans called him ‘awful’ and ‘terrible’ after his latest display, suggesting that he has been a complete waste of money, and is making Manquillo look like a world beater.
Others think he’s one of the worst players to wear a Newcastle shirt in recent times, slating the club’s recruitment staff for thinking he’s good enough for the Premier League.
