Newcastle and Chelsea supporters saw Tammy Abraham’s performance for England’s under-21 side.
England’s Tammy Abraham
Tammy Abraham helped England to a 2-1 victory over Slovakia in the under-21 European Championships last night.
With 45 minutes to go the Three Lions were staring elimination in the face, 1-0 down, having drawn 0-0 with Sweden in their opening match.
Goals from Alfie Mawson and Nathan Redmond gave England the win, but Abraham played a key role, leading the line up front on his own.
Bristol City’s Tammy Abraham
There is a lot of expectation on the Chelsea striker, who scored 26 goals in all competitions on loan at Bristol City last season.
Premier League side Newcastle United are reported to be interested in signing him on loan for the season, and the striker will settle his future after the tournament, the Chronicle reports.
Strikers are judged on goals and Abraham will be disappointed not to score in his opening two games, although service into him was poor against Slovakia.
