Newcastle United are reportedly ready to reignite their interest in Stade de Reims sensation Hugo Ekitike, with Arsenal and Tottenham currently battling it out for the teenage striker.

According to But!, the Magpies will once again look to sign the 19-year-old after failing to land Ekitike in January, with Newcastle having an offer turned down by the player as reported by Sky Sports News.

With ten goals in all competitions this season, Ekitike has established himself as one of the most exciting attacking talents in Europe this season, with Arsenal and Tottenham reportedly both keen on signing the striker.

As per But!, Reims have set a €30m (£25m) price tag on Ekitike, who is set to leave the club this summer for a move to the Premier League, with Borussia Dortmund also interested in the French youngster.

Branded ‘very special’ by Reims boss Oscar Garcia, Ekitike looks set for a massive future at the top, and the striker’s future will be interesting to follow this summer given the number of clubs chasing the youngster.

Indeed, Newcastle will be eager to sign Ekitike, but with Arsenal and Tottenham also eyeing the striker, the Magpies will have to play their cards right if they are to land the talented French phenom.

After failing to sign him in January, Newcastle appear to have newfound hope that they can sign Ekitike in the summer window, and even with Arsenal and Tottenham in the race for the striker, the Magpies have a strong chance of landing the teenager.

After all, Newcastle will be able to offer Ekitike regular minutes in the Premier League, and under Eddie Howe, the forward could easily develop into one of the best strikers in the league if the prospect can hit the ground running.
