Newcastle United are eyeing up summer moves for both Luke Shaw and Kenedy, according to reports.

Newcastle fans have probably become accustomed to their club being linked with some extremely talented players in the months leading up to the transfer window only for the reality to turn out to be much more uninspiring.
However, the January window just gone could perhaps go down as a turning point if it is built upon with Kenedy and Martin Dubravka both making brilliant starts to their loan spells. And while another arrival, Islam Slimani is yet to make an impact due to injury, he undoubtedly has the quality to also impress.

And it appears that Rafa Benitez is hoping to make a further statement in the summer, with the Chronicle reporting that he is keen to make Kenedy’s and Dubravka’s loans permanent, while he is also keeping a keen eye on Luke Shaw’s situation at Manchester United.
Shaw is an extremely talented player who appears to have lost his way somewhat since moving to Manchester United, but Benitez may feel that he is the perfect coach to get him back on track.

And if they could land Shaw and follow that up by bringing Kenedy in on a permanent basis, Newcastle would arguably have one of the most exciting partnerships in the Premier League working down their left flank.
Kenedy is already threatening to be one of Newcastle’s best signings for a long time, and if they could keep him and get Shaw working with him on the same wing, that would undoubtedly put plenty of fear into opponents and ensure that Newcastle have the potential to be an incredibly dangerous side going forward.
