Newcastle United could be able to sign Tottenham Hotspur target Weston McKennie for nothing, according to The Daily Mail.
Newcastle interest in Weston McKennie
The Daily Mail have claimed that Newcastle are considering making a move for Juventus midfielder McKennie in the January transfer window.
New Newcastle manager Eddie Howe wants to sign a midfielder who can control and create.
McKennie has been proposed to Tottenham as well, according to the report.
Juventus could reportedly be open to sending the 23-year-old USA international out on a loan deal in January.
Encouraging for Newcastle United
If Juventus are open to sending McKennie out on loan, then Newcastle should be all over it.
After all, the Magpies will be able to bring in a quality 23-year-old midfielder for nothing in the middle of the season.

Former USA Under-20 coach Tab Ramos described McKennie as “a very powerful player” and “a relentless worker” in The Guardian in November 2020.
The former Schalke star has not been a huge success at Juventus.
But, that Juventus signed him in the first place shows just how good McKennie is.
