Aarons is likely to miss the rest of the season with a cruciate ligament injury.

Newcastle United captain Jamaal Lascelles has tweeted a message of support to his teammate Rolando Aarons after the latter was ruled out of action for the rest of the season.
On Wednesday, Aarons’ 21st birthday, the left-sided star was cruelly ruled out for the remaining six months of the campaign after suffering a cruciate ligament injury.
It is a bitter blow for the young star, and will be hard to swallow after his injury-hampered start to life in the senior set-up at St. James’ Park.

The England Under-20 international had only returned to light training this week after a metatarsal problem picked up in late August, but his comeback has been ended before it had even properly begun.
It will be scant consolation for Aarons, but Magpies captain Lascelles took to Twitter on Wednesday evening urging his teammate to stay as positive as ever despite the latest crushing blow.
Fellow defender Jesus Gamez also lent his support to the young star with a message on his own personal account.
Aarons had made just five appearances for Newcastle in August before he was struck down with the metatarsal problem, and had just begun to take part in training again on his road to recovery when he ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in his knee, a notoriously problematic injury for footballers.
Newcastle fans will likely have to wait until next season to see the popular star back in action as his injury curse moves up a gear with the latest blow.
