Newcastle United could finish in the top 10 of the Premier League this season.

It has also been reported that the former Liverpool and Chelsea manager wants the power to invest that money the way he sees fit in signings at Newcastle.

Not enough money?
Newcastle could end up in the top 10 of the Premier League this season, and that will be a massive achievement for the Magpies, who earned automatic promotion from the Premier League at the end of the 2016-17 campaign.
The Magpies do not exactly have a great squad and desperately need a proven goalscorer, and Benitez should be given credit for the team escaping the drop to the Championship this season.

A transfer kitty of £50m sounds good for a club aiming to finish above the bottom three, but if Newcastle want to end up in the top eight or higher, then they will probably need to spend more.
Perhaps more money could be found if Newcastle sell some of their players, although they may not get too much by doing that.
