Daryl Murphy has joined Nottingham Forest from Newcastle United in the summer transfer window.
Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the transfer of Daryl Murphy.
Championship club Forest have signed Murphy from Premier League outfit Newcastle in the summer transfer window.
According to Sky Sports, the Reds had to pay the Magpies a transfer fee of £2 million in order to secure the services of the 34-year-old, who can operate as a striker or as a winger.

The former Sunderland man joined Newcastle from Ipswich Town in the summer of 2016 and helped the Magpies get promoted to the Premier League.
Murphy made five starts and eight substitute appearances for Rafael Benitez’s side in the Championship last season, scoring five goals and providing one assist in the process.
Forest will be playing in the Championship next season and will be aiming to finish in the top six in order to stand a chance of getting promoted to the English top flight.
