Sissoko featured for France against Iceland in the quarter-finals of the 2016 European Championship at Stade de France in Saint-Denis.
Didier Deschamps’s side registered a comfortable 5-2 win to book their place in the semi-finals, where they will take on Germany.

Newcastle midfielder Sissoko started the game and played for the entire 90 minutes.
The 26-year-old took two shots, had a pass accuracy of 92%, created three chances, put in two crosses, attempted six dribbles, won 50% of his tackles, and made two interceptions, made one clearance and one block.
The France international midfielder has been linked with a move to Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
According to French publication L’Equipe, cited by both Get French Football News and talkSPORT, Liverpool are keeping tabs on the former Toulouse midfielder.
