Both Newcastle and Everton are likely to be busy next month.

Stefano Sturaro’s outspoken agent Carlo Volpi has exclusively hinted to Tribal Football that his client could leave Juventus in January, with Newcastle and Everton said to be interested.
The Tribal Football report even claims that both Premier League sides had approaches rejected for the 24-year-old midfielder, who is struggling for game time with the Italian champions.

Volpi told Italian outlet told ll Bianconero.back in November that interest from both Newcastle and Everton “always comes”, with both clubs expected to be active next month in order to propel themselves up the Premier League table.
Now, Volpi claimed his client is the subject of interest from the Premier League and although he did not mention certain teams, he did say that “news is coming out” and “January is imminent”.
“There are clubs from the Premier [League] which made clear they are interested in Stefano, it would be unfair to name them but the news is coming out. January is imminent,” Volpi said.

The likes of Blaise Matuidi, Sami Khedira and Miralem Pjanic has seen the four-time Italy international plummet down the rankings under manager Massimiliano Allegri, and he could now be on the lookout for a move away.
However, it remains to be seen how much the former Genoa midfielder would cost either Premier League side or indeed any other interested parties as he still has four years remaining on his current contract.
