Everton are reported to be getting rid of five unwanted players this summer, with Newcastle and Barcelona among their likely destinations.

A report in the Liverpool Echo claims that five Everton players will definitely be leaving Goodison Park this summer, but where are they going?

Of the five who the newspaper name as being on their way (Ross Barkley is also included but with a question mark over his Toffees future), here is each of their most likely destinations.

Well this is as an easy one, as Watford confirmed at the end of March that they had exercised an option in their loan agreement to sign Cleverley permanently as of July 1.

Apparently Ronald Koeman cannot offer the winger – who spent the 2016/17 season on loan at AC Milan – assurances over his future at the club. Well when Goal reports Barcelona are going to trigger a buy-back clause, Deulofeu probably doesn’t mind.

McCarthy’s injury problems this term have seen him fall off Koeman’s radar somewhat, but according to the Express it will still cost Newcastle United – who are thought to be leading the way for his signature – £20m to land the midfielder.

Yes the Irishman is still a Toffees player and a very well paid one at that. Yet after impressing at Preston North End on loan the Echo have also reported that the Championship club are ready to make him a permanent signing for £2.5m.

The report says Hull City (where Niasse was on loan) were given first refusal on a £10m deal for the striker, but turned it down, making reports from Turkish publication, Fotospor, saying the 27-year-old will move to Trabzonspor seem all the more likely.
