Tottenham Hotspur need to find a striker in the coming weeks, and Napoli hitman Arkadiusz Milik continues to be suggested.
Spurs must bring in competition for Harry Kane before the October transfer deadline, and a whole host of centre forwards have been linked.
Links to Milik seem to emerge and fade away every other week, and they are now back with real force over in Italy.
SportItalia’s Alfredo Pedulla reports that Tottenham are today holding a conference call with Milik’s agents to discuss a potential move.
Spurs allegedly ramped up their interest on Tuesday, and this should be an important day in Tottenham’s pursuit of the 26-year-old if this report is true.
Additionally, Radio Kiss Kiss spoke to Vicenzo Morabito, an intermediary agent in the transfer market, and he claims that Newcastle are out of the race having signed Callum Wilson.
Morabito added that Premier League clubs won’t give Milik more than £3million-a-year (£58,000-a-week), whereas the striker wants double that.

With a fee of around £25million needed, this will become an expensive deal for Spurs, though Milik has hit 34 goals in his past two seasons, which is the kind of goalscoring record Tottenham want.
An interesting twist is that Tottenham almost joined Spurs for just £100,000 at the age of 16 according to The Mirror, but Spurs felt he was no better than what they already had after a trial spell.
10 years on, Milik could end up at Tottenham in a big-money move – but it certainly won’t be easy to pull off the deal.
