Wolverhampton Wanderers should consider a move for Newcastle United striker Dwight Gayle this summer.

Nuno Espirito Santo has worked wonders during his time in charge at Wolves, but the really hard work begins now, with a season of Premier League football to look forward to.
The Portuguese will surely be busy in the transfer market this summer, and one area where he might want to improve is his forward department.
The Black Country outfit do have plenty of strikers, but with many of them currently at Molineux on loan, it is unclear as to who will be there next season.

The addition of a striker with Premier League experience will surely feature highly on Nuno’s wish-list, and with this in mind, he should consider bringing Newcastle’s Dwight Gayle to the club this summer.
The 27-year-old joined the Magpies from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2016, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £10 million, and he has gone on to score an impressive 28 goals in 68 appearances for the Toon.

He has made just 20 Premier League starts for Rafa Benitez’s side this term, however, and if Wolves were to make a decent offer for his services, Newcastle would surely be tempted into selling the striker.
Gayle possesses fantastic movement in and around the box, and is a clinical finisher.
The Magpies striker would be the ideal partner for Diogo Jota, or he could be equally effective as an impact sub, and if Nuno does in fact manage to bring him to Molineux this summer, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for Wolves.
