Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno could make a quality low-priced option for Newcastle United.
Moreno will not be offered a new deal at Liverpool, which gives Newcastle a chance to sign the Spaniard in January or at the end of the season.
Moreno may have his doubters at Liverpool, but for Newcastle he could be a massive upgrade on Paul Dummett.
Dummett is a solid defensive options, but his limitations are obvious at Premier League level.
Moreno, on the other hand, may have his flaws defensively, but his attacking skill would make him a threat.
If Newcastle could line up with DeAndre Yedlin and Moreno on either side of their defence, then Rafael Benitez’s side would have the quickest full back pairing in the Premier League.
And with Newcastle’s budget in January only likely to be limited, Moreno should be considered one of the best quality options available to them.
