The Knicks beat the San Antonio Spurs 4-1 in the Finals, with Jalen Brunson leading the way and the supporting cast helping turn New York’s season into a historic one.
Bridges, McBride and Anunoby clearly were not tired of elite sport, as they turned up for one of the standout World Cup games near their NBA home.
When cameras focused on them, Bridges leaned into the moment by pointing out his New York hat, a small reminder that the Knicks’ celebration mood has not faded.
Anunoby also drew attention because he was wearing a jacket despite the warm weather at MetLife Stadium.
One fan joked: “OG doesn’t know where he is at, I swear.”
It was a fitting crossover moment for New York sports. France delivered the result, while the Knicks trio brought their own championship glow to the stands.
