Jimenez has joined Wolves on a season-long loan with an option to buy.

New Wolverhampton Wanderers signing Raul Jimenez has posted on Twitter ahead of linking up with the newly-promoted side on Wednesday, after agreeing a loan deal with the club last month.
The 27-year-old Benfica striker joins Wolves on loan until the end of the season, with the Express & Star claiming Wolves have an option to land the Mexico international on a permanent basis for £30million.
A 65-time international, Jimenez brings huge pedigree with him to the Molineux, after he became the most expensive purchase in Portuguese football history at £20million when he joined Benfica from Atletico Madrid.
He posted a picture of himself alongside is father and brother at Molineux, ahead of joining the club for pre-season training on Wednesday after being given an extended break following his participation with Mexico at the World Cup.
His Tweet is translated as: “Already in England with my father and my brother. Very excited to join the Wolves tomorrow.”
Wolves have made seven signings this summer including Jimenez in a bid to remain in the Premier League, landing Portugal’s number one Rui Patricio and Jimenez as the only two new faces.
The other five signings were on loan at Wolves last term, in the form of Leo Bonatini, Willy Boly, Ruben Vinagre, Diogo Jota and Benik Afobe, though the latter has already joined Stoke City.
