Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United are keen on signing Goncalo Ramos from Benfica in the summer transfer window.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that Newcastle have made Ramos their “new top target”.
Romano has added that the Magpies are preparing to make a bid for the forward, and that talks are going on between the Premier League club and Benfica and the 21-year-old forward.
