Ryan Fredericks is Manuel Pellegrini’s first signing as West Ham United boss and the player has dropped a hint more are on the way.

Ryan Fredericks became Manuel Pellegrini’s first signing as West Ham manager this week after swapping West for East London on a free transfer from Fulham.
The pacy right back has signed a four-year deal with the Hammers and will officially join West Ham from July 1.
The 25-year-old, who has been likened to Manchester City star Kyle Walker, represents an excellent piece of business by West Ham after he helped Fulham to promotion and was named in the EFL Championship team to the year.
He is one of a host of players Pellegrini has been linked with so far this summer including Marlon Santos, Felipe Anderson, Jack Wilshere and Javier Pastore.

There have been conflicting reports over whether the club is serious about spending big this summer despite pledges from co-owners David Sullivan and David Gold to do exactly that.
And there has even been a suggestion that Pellegrini is already fed up with his new bosses as reported by the likes of The Mirror.
But in his first interview with the club’s official website since signing, Fredericks dropped a big hint more quality signings are on the way – a fact which helped persuade him to join the Hammers.

“Everyone knows the history of West Ham, there’s a lot of factors that brought me to the club,” Fredericks told the club’s official website.
“Obviously it’s exciting times for West Ham, just brought in the new manager, everyone knows his CV and what he has done in England before and in other leagues as well.
“It’s exciting times, we’re going to be bringing in some other good players, and it just felt like the next step in my career.”
