Arsenal face Bournemouth on Saturday evening as they look to continue their perfect start in the Premier League this season.

The Gunners are just one of two teams to have won both of their opening matches this term, and a win against the Cherries on Saturday would see them ascend to the top of the Premier League.

Arsenal come into this one as favourites against a newly-promoted Bournemouth team that is expected to struggle this season, but as the south-coast club’s opening day win against Aston Villa show, Scott Parker’s side are no pushovers.

With that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting Arsenal’s starting XI for this one.

As the old saying goes, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

We’re expecting Mikel Arteta to go unchanged for this game as he looks to build on Arsenal’s incredible start to this Premier League campaign.

Despite his own goal last week, William Saliba keeps his spot in the starting XI, while Ben White plays ahead of Takehiro Tomiyasu at right-back after back-to-back impressive performances at full-back.

Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey continue their partnership in the midfield, while Martin Odegaard starts in the number 10 role.

Fabio Vieira made an appearance for the U21s in midweek and he should make the bench for the first time here, but it’s tough to see him starting over Odegaard.

Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka start on the wings, while there are no prizes for guessing who is leading the line for Arsenal as Gabriel Jesus looks to continue his fantastic start to the season.
