New Rangers signing Greg Docherty came off the bench at the weekend at Ibrox as they suffered a surprise loss.
The Gers were beaten 2-1 by Hibernian, failing to capitalise on Celtic losing earlier in the day.
Docherty sent a message on social media after the loss, commenting that he was impressed with the fanatical Rangers support.
Docherty signed from Hamilton towards the end of the transfer window and is still working to establish himself in the Tangers team.
He is hoping to make his first start for Rangers on Tuesday night when the Light Blues take on Partick Thistle.
Later this month a fixture awaits against his former club and that is a game Docherty will not want to miss out on.
This means he must seize his chance if he gets in against Partick, and the defeat at the weekend could prompt manager Graeme Murty into making a few changes.
