In a transfer saga that seems to change by the hour West Ham United reportedly have a ‘big chance’ to smash their transfer record.

West Ham have been linked with a big money move for exciting Lazio star Felipe Anderson but the move has been stalling for a number of weeks now.
The Hammers are trying to make Brazilian Anderson their marquee signing of a new era under Manuel Pellegrini, as reported by the likes of Sky Sports.

Co-owners David Sullivan and David Gold have been promising supporters the move to the London Stadium would enable them to compete in the transfer market for players of Anderson’s ilk.
The 25-year-old winger scored seven goals and provided 12 assists in an injury-hit season for Lazio last term during which he helped the Rome club to the Europa League quarter-finals.

The move has excited West Ham fans as Anderson has proved to be one of Lazio’s key players for a number of seasons, having signed from Santos for just £6.75m in 2013.
In 177 appearances across five seasons for Lazio, Anderson has scored 34 goals and provided 42 assists.
West Ham and Lazio have been unable to agree on a fee and terms for the transfer, though, much to the exasperation of Hammers fans.
Earlier this week a report from Tutto Mercato claimed West Ham had submitted a final offer for the Brazilian worth £31 million with an additional £2.5 million in add-ons and a 10% sell-on clause.

And according to a new report in The Telegraph, that bid gives West Ham a ‘big chance’ to seal Anderson’s signature.
“West Ham United are increasingly confident of signing Lazio winger Felipe Anderson for a club-record fee which could be as high as £35 million,” Jason Burt wrote in The Telegraph.
“Talks have progressed between West Ham and Anderson’s representatives with one source close to the deal saying there is now a “big chance” that it will be completed.”
