According to The Northern Echo, Bournemouth want £30 million as transfer fee for Callum Wilson, with Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United reportedly interested in the striker.

The Daily Star reported this month that Tottenham want to sign Wilson from Bournemouth in the summer transfer window.

Spurs are looking for a back-up striker for Harry Kane, and have identified the 28-year-old as a potential target, according to the report.

The Northern Echo has reported that Newcastle are looking to bring the England international to St. James’ Park, with the report claiming that the Cherries – who will play in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the Premier League – want as much as £30 million for him.

Good signing for Tottenham Hotspur or Newcastle United?

Wilson is a good striker who has established himself in the Premier League and has also played four times for the England national football team.

While £30 million for a 28-year-old does sound a lot, there is no doubt that both Tottenham and Newcastle need a striker.

While Spurs cannot rely on Harry Kane to stay fit or in full form during an entire season, Joelinton struggled for Newcastle this past season.
