With Jermain Defoe and Steven Davis now at Ibrox, the Glasgow Rangers defender suggests the Scottish Premiership title is a target for the club.

Glasgow Rangers defender Connor Goldson has admitted that the club’s recent arrivals have been brought in to spearhead their bid for the Scottish Premiership title.
With the winter break now underway, the Light Blues sit second in the table, level on points with reigning champions and bitter rivals Celtic.
This month, former England striker Jermain Defoe joined the club from Premier League outfit Bournemouth on an 18-month loan deal with release clauses.
Meanwhile, Southampton midfielder Steven Davis, formerly of Rangers, has returned to Ibrox on loan until the end of the season.
With Steven Gerrard at the helm, Gers recently claimed their first Old Firm win in 13 games in all competitions as they go in search of their first league title since 2011.
In an interview with Sky Sports News, Goldson was asked whether the new Rangers arrivals could help the club go on to win the title.

“We hope so,” replied the 26-year-old. “That is what they have been brought in to do.
“But at the same time they are just both great signings for us as a team, the whole club and I think they are signings the club deserves to have. A club this size deserves to attract players of that level.”
Rangers return to action on January 18 with a Scottish Cup fourth-round tie against Cowdenbeath before travelling to fellow Scottish Premiership title challengers Kilmarnock in the league five days later.
