Ojo is joining Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers on a season-long loan deal from Premier League club Liverpool.
The 21-year-old winger has revealed that he had options to join other clubs, and believes that it was the right decision for him to move to the Gers.
The Scottish Sun quotes Ojo as saying: “When I heard Rangers were involved, I spoke to my representatives, the gaffer Steven Gerrard and I spoke to Liverpool as well.
“All the parties just believed that this was the right destination for me, for my career, for the season.”
The winger added: “With all the advice I got, it was kind of an easy decision. There was other clubs that I could have gone to but I felt this was the right decision for me.”

Good decision for Sheyi Ojo?
Ojo is a very good winger, and the 21-year-old can only get better in the coming years.
The youngster has not been very consistent in recent years during his loan spells, but there is no doubt that the England Under-21 international has potential and is talented.
Having joined Rangers so early in the summer transfer window, the 21-year-old will get to train with Steven Gerrard’s team during pre-season, and that will help him develop an understanding with his new teammates.
Rangers will be aiming to challenge Old Firm rivals Celtic for the Scottish Premiership title next season.
