Ejaria spent the second half of last season on loan at Sunderland but found it tricky to settle into a team which were destined for relegation.
As a result his own performances were not up to the standard he would have liked, and he received some criticism from of the Black Cats’ fans.

Speaking to Rangers’ official website, Ejaria insists he is better for it.
He said “I would say my time at Sunderland has definitely made me mentally stronger, it was a tough time but the experience has made me better. The more games I play at senior level the better I am getting.
“I have watched quite a few Old Firm games on the tele and it is a massive derby. I am looking forward to walking out into that atmosphere for the first time; it is going to be a really good feeling.”

Ejaria has a fresh start at Rangers and hopes to kick on.
There are reasons he will put in a better show of his talents, with pre-season a key factor.
Familarity with manager Steven Gerrard, coach Michael Beale and former teammate Jordan Rossiter will also help.
