The Scottish striker has moved from Hibernian.
Hibernian’s Jason Cummings scores their first goal from the penalty spot
Nottingham Forest have completed a big summer signing, as they finally confirmed the arrival of Jason Cummings from Hibernian.
The Scottish attacker arrives for an undisclosed fee, which Sky Sports report is in excess of £1 million.
The 21-year-old scored 23 goals in 39 appearances and Forest will hope he can have a similar impact in the Championship.
The player himself is also clearly excited about his move to the City Ground.
He sent this tweet earlier today highlighting his impatience to get started in a Forest shirt, where he will want to score goals immediately:
He was however sympathetic to his former club as well. Cummings, who had been with Hibernian since 2013, scored 71 goals in 150 games for the Edinburgh club and sent this tweet to the fans at Easter Road:
Cummings, who was known to Forest manager Mark Warburton from his time at Rangers, will hopefully have a big impact south of the border, as Forest look to have a better campaign then the relegation flirting they did last season.
