Arsenal target Kaio Jorge has his heart set on a move to Italy, with Gennaro Gattuso’s Napoli opening talks over a summer swoop for the Santos starlet, as reported by AreaNapoli.
One of the hottest prospects in Brazilian football may have a £64 million release clause in his contract but, with his current deal due to expire in December, Santos have long-since given up hope of selling their prized asset for such a princely sum.
The Peixe would accept somewhere in the region of £15 million these days.
If Jorge really is as good as they say he is over in South America, the ‘new Neymar’ could be one of the best bargain buys of the summer market.
After luring David Luiz, Willian and Gabriels Martinelli and Magalhaes to the Emirates, Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are mulling over a swoop for the former Brazil U17 international.
But it seems the Gunners are not exactly at the top of Jorge’s wish list.

According to AreaNapoli, the 6ft centre-forward would prefer a move to Italy with Juventus, Roma and AC Milan keen.
Napoli, however, are in pole position, their foot slammed on the accelerator with the finish line in sight. The Partenopei have begun negotiations, with sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli opening talks.
UOL reports that Santos have agreed to let Jorge go this summer, although they are still hoping to tie the striker down to a new contract in order to protect his value.
