Liverpool are reportedly keen on goalkeeper Michel Vorm.

Liverpool’s goalkeeping woes have been well-documented in recent weeks, and that means another transfer target is on their radar.
Alisson picked up an injury on the opening day of the season against Norwich City, meaning new signing Adrian was called into action.
That resulted in Andrew Lonergan being signed as extra cover, and a recent ankle blow for Adrian means recent Rochdale loanee Lonergan may be needed soon.
With Alisson out for a while yet, Liverpool are still considering other goalkeepers though, and goalkeeping coach John Achterberg has told NOS in the Netherlands that a deal for Michel Vorm has been discussed.
Vorm has been released by Tottenham Hotspur so is looking for a new club, and this isn’t even the first time Liverpool have been targeting the Dutchman.
The Liverpool Echo noted in 2014 that Brendan Rodgers wanted to sign Vorm for Liverpool, having worked together with great success at Swansea City, but no move went through as he instead joined Tottenham.

The pair have a fine history together. Rodgers branded Vorm ‘fantastic’ to Goal in 2011, and the goalkeeper himself raved about Liverpool’s decision to appoint Rodgers in 2012 (Liverpool Echo).
Liverpool fans may well find that history interesting, as Rodgers’ view on Vorm may have been passed down to Achterberg, who was Liverpool’s goalkeeping coach during that initial interest too.
Five years on from Rodgers’ interest, the 35-year-old may finally be heading to Liverpool on a free transfer – and it’s now up to Jurgen Klopp to decide whether that move does finally materialise for the veteran stopper.
