Liverpool clinched the signing of Fabio Borini on Friday night for a fee in the region of £13 million.
It will be the third time he has linked up with Brendan Rodgers, they worked together in Chelsea’s youth set up, and then when the manager brought him on loan to Swansea.
After Swansea he left for his native Italy, when his performances earned a call-up to the Italian national side, and a place in the squad for Euro 2012.
He will no doubt feel at home with Rodgers, and will be intent on scoring several at Anfield next season. He is expected to join the new squad on their forthcoming tour of America.
In honour of his arrival, we’ve selected the best clips showing his goals at all three clubs, in reverse order. Check them out, there are some exquisite displays of finishing in there, and plenty for Liverpool supporters to get excited about for next season.
