Samu Saiz has made an early impact for Leeds United, and joins Fulham and Bristol City men among strong early performers.

Spanish attacker Samu Saiz has proved to be an early revelation for Leeds United since clinching his summer move from Huesca.
He sat out the club’s opening 3-2 win at Bolton but has since forced his way into the first team, starting with a League Cup hat-trick against Port Vale.
Strong Championship performances have followed, with Saiz helping Leeds to a five game unbeaten streak in the division.

Saiz is one of the three most creative players in the division according to statistics which show he has created the third highest number of key passes per game so far.
Only Fulham’s ever consistent Tom Cairney and Bristol City winger Jamie Paterson rank higher.
| Team | Key Passes per game | Assists | Goals | Appearances | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tom Cairney | Fulham | 3 | 0 | 0 | 3 |
| Jamie Paterson | Bristol C | 2.8 | 0 | 1 | 5 |
| Samuel Sáiz | Leeds | 2.75 | 1 | 1 | 4 |
Along with Macedonia international winger Ezgjan Alioski, Saiz is proving to be an inspired signing so far and have made Leeds one of the most attractive teams to watch in the division at this early stage.
Saiz has a big task ahead to keep it up over the long season ahead, but with veteran Pablo Hernandez sharing the workload, Leeds are in a strong position to rest him when is required.
Fortunately for the Whites, Spain’s international ranks are so deep that Saiz can’t get a look in, and the attacker has has a fortnight’s rest ahead of this Saturday’s clash with Burton Albion.
