Khamzat Chimaev is bringing even more experience into his training camp ahead of his next fight.
Chimaev has already spent time working with the likes of Aaron Pico as he gets ready for his first middleweight title defence.
On top of having his regular team around him and sessions with Arman Tsarukyan, Chimaev was also joined by Demetrious Johnson at Santo Studio in California.
The newest face in the camp is a fighter whose rise through the ranks suggests it’s only a matter of time before they share an Octagon together.
Brendan Allen joins Khamzat Chimaev’s training camp ahead of UFC 328 title defense

Sean Strickland is expected to focus on his grappling ahead of his upcoming matchup with Khamzat Chimaev.
Chimaev’s grappling looked strong in the footage, as he worked from top position against the fifth-ranked middleweight Brendan Allen.
Allen was stopped by Strickland in their 2020 meeting at the Apex in Las Vegas, a result that put a halt to his momentum at the time.
The clip shared by Bear Degidio on Instagram captured Allen’s first day joining the team at Santos Studio.
Allen is slated to take on Edmen Shahbazyan next, a fight that has raised questions given their current standing in the rankings. Many had expected Dricus du Plessis, who hasn’t fought since dropping the belt last August, to be his next opponent instead.
‘Stillknocks’ hasn’t competed since losing his title nearly a year ago and remains without a scheduled bout as of now.
