Tottenham Hotspur could offload Giovani Lo Celso in the summer transfer window, according to a report.
Italian journalist Rudy Galetti has reported on Twitter that Real Betis are interested in signing Giovani Lo Celso from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.
Giovani Lo Celso could leave Tottenham Hotspur for Real Betis
The reporter has claimed that Betis are working on a loan deal for the Argentina international attacking midfielder.
Galetti has said that Tottenham want to include a clause that will see Betis make the loan permanent next summer.
The reporter has claimed that “new developments” are expected in the coming days.
This latest update from Galetti suggests that Tottenham have changed their stance on the 27-year-old.
The Times reported only last week that Lo Celso has impressed Spurs head coach head coach Ange Postecoglou and looks “likely to stay”.

However, it seems that Lo Celso could really leave Spurs in the final days of the summer transfer window.
The £100,000-a-week (SalarySport) Argentina international midfielder has not always been great for Spurs during his time at the North London club so far.
And he had been on loan at Villarreal in recent seasons as well.
Lo Celso has not made a single appearance in the Premier League this season.
The Argentine has not been a huge success in the Premier League, and we would not be surprised if Tottenham decide to offload him between now and the end of the summer transfer window.
