Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Arsenal central defender William Saliba will soon sign a new contract with the Gunners.
The Italian journalist has claimed that everything has been sorted between Arsenal and William Saliba over a new deal.
The £27 million (SkySports) France international central defender will put pen to paper when he is back from vacation and will sign a new contract until June 2027, according to Romano.
Exciting William Saliba contract update for Arsenal fans
In our opinion, that William Saliba will sign a new contract soon is very good news for Arsenal fans.
The defender was superb for Arsenal last season and was one of the best young players in the Premier League.

One of the big reasons why the Gunners pushed Manchester City for the Premier League title until the final weeks of the season was because of the form of Saliba and his partnership with Gabriel at the heart of the North London club’s defence.
The 22-year-old was so good for Arsenal last season that he forced Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta to play Ben White at right-back.
White is a centre-back by trade.
Saliba scored two goals and gave one assist in 27 Premier League matches for Arsenal last season.
The Arsenal no. 12 also scored one goal in four UEFA Europa League games for the Gunners last campaign.
