Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with PSV Eindhoven winger Steven Bergwijn.

Last week, Voetbal International reported that PSV Eindhoven were expecting a bid from Tottenham Hotspur for winger Steven Bergwijn.
The 21-year-old enjoyed a superb season, racking up 14 goals and 13 assists in all competitions whilst terrorising defenders with his pace, skill and surprising strength.
Tottenham may see Bergwijn as the spark they need in the final third, giving Mauricio Pochettino another winger to work with given how Georges-Kevin Nkoudou has flopped.
Bergwijn is in line to face England on Thursday night, as he could feature for Ronald Koeman’s Netherlands side in the UEFA Nations League.
Tottenham may have one eye on his performance given how they’re expected to move on, and further claims have emerged about a potential move to North London.
Sky Sports have spoken to Algemeen Dagblad journalist Rik Elfrink, and he has revealed that Tottenham have indeed spoken to Bergwijn’s agent about a move.

Elfrink added that PSV deny a €40million bid has been made, but Elfrink believes a transfer is probably closer than people think, before branding him an ‘incredible talent’ with great strength.
“Spurs are following him,” says Elfrink. “They have talked to his agent and it has been said that there has already been an offer of 40m euros. PSV deny that, but a transfer is probably not far off. Bergwijn is an incredible talent but he still has a lot of potential to improve, especially in front of goal because sometimes he still loses his nerve.”
“But this guy is really, really strong. If you look at his legs, you can see his muscles. I think it would be normal for him to make transfer this summer after the Nations League,” he added.
