Milot Rashica needs to leave Werder Bremen this summer amid interest from Wolverhampton Wanderers and Aston Villa, his agent Altin Lala told a Sport Buzzer live stream (6:00pm), via BuliNews.
With just a couple of weeks until the new Bundesliga campaign kicks off, Florian Kohfeldt’s side appear to have no idea whether their star man will be wearing green and white next season.
The Werder coach has made it clear that he hopes to have Rashica available for the opening day clash with Hertha Berlin on September 19, but there is still a very real chance that the Kosovo international will be packing his bags before then.
Aston Villa and Wolves allegedly made offers in June and both clubs are still in the market for attacking reinforcements (Kicker).
After Werder chief Marco Bode admitted that Rashica had asked to leave the club before the transfer window shuts, the winger’s agent has backed his desire to move away from the Weser Stadium.
“He is a player who needs a new challenge. It’s time to take the next step,” Lala says.

Rashica, a diminutive yet dynamic little winger who has been compared to Franck Ribery and a prime-era Alexis Sanchez, is valued at £23 million after his 11 goals and eight assists saved Werder Bremen from relegation last season (BILD).
Moves to AC Milan and RB Leipzig also appear to have fallen through, leaving the door wide open for Aston Villa or Wolves.
