The 37-year old joins the Glasgow club on a free transfer.
QPR’s Clint Hill
Rangers new boy Clint Hill has spoken of his desire to win over the doubters after confirmation of his move to Ibrox, in quotes published by STV Sport.
The former QPR defender joins on a one-year deal after seeing out his contract with the London club this summer and is determined to prove his worth North of the border.
“I’m very mindful of the fact that people will question it,” said Hill.

“I’m 37, I’m not a big name signing compared to some of the great players who have played for this club, but I will give everything I’ve got.
“I’ve done that over my career at every club I’ve been to. I think I’ve proved some people wrong at clubs I’ve been at as well and I’m very determined to do that here.”
Hill’s age may raise some eyebrows in Glasgow but Rangers fans need look no further than current assistant coach David Weir as an example for the value an older head can bring at centre-back.

Wier played into his forties at Ibrox and maintained his performance levels throughout, and Hill will be confident of bringing his plentiful experience to bear in a similar fashion.
The new arrival has 594 appearances to his name and could be an invaluable influence both on and off the pitch, using his leadership to assist this young, hungry Rangers side.

Only time will tell whether Hill still has what it takes to be a commanding force in the heart of defence but what’s not in doubt is that Mark Warburton is slowing bolstering his squad with the type of shrew additions necessary if he is to mount an SPL title bid at the first time of asking.
