Sam Allardyce is one of the names linked with the vacant Everton job.

Neville Southall is unsure whether Sam Allardyce would be the right man to take Everton forward after the former England manager was linked with replacing Ronald Koeman.
Allardyce, 63, told BeIN Sports coverage of Everton’s 2-0 loss to Leicester City on Sunday, as quoted by Sky Sports, that he would “consider” the Everton job if a “phonecall happens”.
The former West Ham and Crystal Palace manager has been out of work since leaving the Eagles at the end of the season, and had previously stated that he held no intention of getting back into football management.

However, Allardyce could now return to football if Everton look to appoint him, as they continue in their search for Ronald Koeman’s successor after sacking the Dutchman with the Merseyside giants in 18th place.
Everton legend Southall weighed in with his opinion when replying to a fan on his personal Twitter account, stating that Allardyce has done well with his previous clubs but is undecided over whether it is the “right time”.

Everton are set to remain in the bottom three of England’s top tier for another week after failing to prevent Jamie Vardy and Demarai Gray from finding the back of the net at the King Power Stadium on Sunday.
However, interim boss David Unsworth could earn his first win if he is still in charge on Thursday, as the Toffees prepare to face French giants Lyon in what is a must-win game if they are to qualify for the Europa League knockout stages.
