Everton goalkeeper Joel Robles became the club’s first choice last season.

Neville Southall has admitted on Twitter that Everton need to upgrade goalkeeper Joel Robles.
The Spaniard replaced Tim Howard as the Toffees’ first choice in goal, after his performances impressed in cup competitions.

With Howard’s age starting to show, Robles went on to secure his place in between the sticks for Everton, but his displays did not entirely convince.
Although the Spaniard was more reliable than Howard, he still made some costly errors during his time in net.
And Southall admits that Everton will not win the Premier League, unless Robles is replaced.
Southall, who used to play in goal for Everton, has already expressed his desire to see the Merseyside club start challenging for the title.
Everton now have funds behind them, following the investment of Farhad Moshiri.
The Toffees are expected to bring in a goalkeeper this summer, with Joe Hart and Steve Mandanda both linked.

Southall has recently suggested that Everton should try to sign Wayne Hennessey from Crystal Palace.
