Everton lost against Lyon at Goodison Park in the Europa League on Thursday evening.

Everton’s disappointing run of form continued on Thursday evening, as they lost to Lyon at home in the Europa League.
The Toffees went down 2-1 to French club Lyon at Goodison Park in Europa League Group E.
The defeat means that Ronald Koeman’s side are now at the foot of the league table with just one point from three matches.
The result also means that Everton continue to struggle this season, as the Merseyside outfit are struggling in the Premier League as well.

Koeman’s side are 16th in the Premier League table at the moment with just eight points from as many matches, only two points above the relegation zone.
The performance of the Toffees against Lyon was quite disappointing and left much to be desired.
Everton legend Neville Southall was following the match, and he was not impressed with manager Koeman’s decision to take off Kevin Mirallas for Sandro Ramirez.
Former Everton defender Michael Ball was following the match, and he has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the final result.
Meanwhile, former Everton striker Kevin Campbell has urged manager Koeman to give more chances to Ademola Lookman.
The 19-year-old, who can operate as a winger or a forward, came on as substitute at the start of the second half.
