Tony Cascarino has praised Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah in The Times for his performance against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City at Anfield at the weekend.
Salah scored for Liverpool in their win against Manchester City at Anfield in the Premier League.
Jurgen Klopp’s side won the match 1-0.
The Egypt international forward scored a hat-trick against Scottish Premiership club Rangers away from home at Ibrox in the UEFA Champions League last week.
Former Chelsea player and talkSPORT pundit Cascarino has been hugely impressed by Salah’s attitude and his willingness to continue to give his all despite his recent struggles.
Tony Cascarino on Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah
Cascarino wrote: “Mohamed Salah has the best attitude of any footballer I can remember.
“He has been at his lowest ebb this season, at least in his Liverpool career, but he never stops running and trying to get chances.

“Even last weekend, where he did not get a kick away to Arsenal, I could not have accused him of lacking effort.
“He returned to form last Wednesday with a hat-trick in the Champions League and took that form into yesterday’s game against Manchester City.
“He constantly troubled the opposition defence and deservedly got the winner. The Egypt forward is also durable — if anyone can withstand playing at such intensity and in this month’s fixture congestion, it is him.”
Back in form
Mohamed Salah has not had the best of seasons for Liverpool, but he is now in form.
The former Chelsea player was truly sensational against Rangers in the UEFA Champions League last week.
And now he scored against Manchester City.
Salah did have a very good chance before he scored against City, but, as Cascarino notes, he never gives up, is always willing to run, and works hard to get chances and do the best for his team.
For Liverpool to be successful in the Premier League and in the UEFA Champions League, Salah will have to be on top of his game this season.
