The relegation battlers are still yet to lose under new manager Tony Mowbray’s stewardship.

Despite facing a Fulham side who seem highly likely to finish in the top six, Blackburn Rovers yet again refused to be defeated and snatched a late 2-2 draw deep into injury time.

Lucas Joao was Blackburn’s hero again as he found the net in the 94th minute to secure the draw, just a few days after scoring twice against Norwich City in another 2-2 draw.

The result means that Blackburn are still to lose under new manager Tony Mowbray, a run which has lasted six games and seen play-off chasing sides like Fulham, Norwich, and (at the time) Derby County all come unstuck.

One of the main reasons for this success is a new found willingness not to give in, whereas under previous manager Owen Coyle, Blackburn’s heads went down after a goal was conceded.

In Rovers’ last three fixtures, they’ve come back to claim something on all three occasions, and it’s that desire to keep fighting until the very last second that will see the club stay up.

Mowbray’s side are still well in a relegation fight, and find themselves just a point above the drop zone, but with the form they’re in and the fight they’re showing, you wouldn’t bet against them surviving.
