Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to comment on the latest development regarding Lionel Messi, after the forward left Barcelona in tears.

Well, as tweeted by the reliable Fabrizio Romano, the six-time Ballon d’Or winner is heading to Paris Saint-Germain.
Messi has agreed a two-year contract with Mauricio Pochettino’s side, and will arrive in Paris within the next few hours.
PSG have an option to extend the two-year contract by an extra year until June 2024.
Messi will earn €35m-a-year (£29.6m) at the Parc des Princes, which equates to a mind-boggling £569,230-a-week.
In truth, we feel only PSG or Manchester City could’ve afforded to take the 34-year-old, after his emotional departure from the Camp Nou.

Writing from his personal Twitter account, Lineker offered sarcasm after finding out that Messi had agreed to join PSG.
