Leeds United fans are Twitter have provided a mixed reaction after Ben White posted an emotional message on Instagram yesterday.
The highly-rated centre-back was on-loan at Leeds during their promotion to the Premier League, and ahead of the new season in September, he will report back to his parent club, Brighton and Hove Albion, as things stand.
White stated on Instagram that ‘no matter what happens’ he will ‘never forget’ the way he was treated by Leeds, as he thanked everyone at the club for supporting him in what was ‘the most incredible season’.
It’s obvious that the Leeds faithful want White to sign on the dotted line at Elland Road on a permanent basis, but they’re not getting that vibe from the youngster.
The Daily Mail recently claimed that if Leeds are to sign White from Brighton then they would have to cough up £20 million for his services.
Either way, the Leeds faithful are hoping this isn’t a goodbye from White because he has produced some of the best football they have seen in a long time.
