Harry Kane left Tottenham Hotspur in the summer in search of trophies, but he left his old mate behind.
Whilst many pointed towards the number of goals scored by Harry Kane, yet there were no trophies to boost, well, Son Heung-min is also in the same boat.
The 31-year-old has scored 117 goals in his Premier League career so far, without lifting a trophy and Darren Bent thinks he is ‘far too good’ to be in that position.
Not only that, he was left surprised that Son Heung-min has never been linked to other clubs, such as Real Madrid, as he told talkSPORT.
The Tottenham forward has a massive following in the Asian market and South Korea specifically.
But he isn’t someone who shouts from the rooftops or is in the headlines for the wrong reasons, so it just results in his profile being a little quieter.
Either way, Darren Bent suggested what Son Heung-min would be worth in the transfer market if he were to leave the club.
Son Heung-min in the transfer market
“All clubs need to win stuff,” said Bent. “There are some exceptions and I will give you one at the top of my head.
“Son, he is far too good of a player to never have won anything.
On why nobody comes in for him: “I don’t know. I don’t get it. He is a top, top player. How old is he now 30 or 31?! £70-80 million for Son. What a player he is. Never (has anyone come in for him). Unless we don’t hear about it. I have never heard Real Madrid go ‘Son is yep…’
Son or Rashford: “I am taking Son all day long.”

Tottenham captain
When Hugo Lloris stepped aside and Kane left the building, then it was obvious there was only going to be one man who was going to be captain.
Not only is Son very popular with his own fans, but he is also very much liked inside the dressing room, hence why he is the skipper.
Given all he has done for the club, and all the goals he has scored, it would be fitting if he does lift some sort of trophy sooner rather than later.
With Ange Postecoglou showcasing real promise, the fans are hoping that will come to an end next season, but it’s the hope that kills you.
