Jeff Stelling was left stunned by Granit Xhaka’s mistake during Arsenal’s game against Burnley today, as shown below.
The host of the Soccer Saturday show on Sky Sports News could not believe the error from Xhaka that led to Chris Wood scoring at Turf Moor in the 39th minute.
Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno should have done better as well, but the Switzerland international midfielder – who cost the Gunners £35 million in transfer fees when they signed him in the summer of 2016, as reported by The Daily Mail – will make the headlines.
Stelling said on Sky Sports News, as shown below: “Chris Wood has never scored against Arsenal before. I will tell you what. He will never ever score another goal against Arsenal or anybody like that one. I have never seen anything like that in Premier League football before.”
Big mistake
It was a very poor play from Arsenal, who must be bitterly disappointed at the goal that they conceded against Burnley.

Defensive errors happen for all teams, but as one can see in the clip above, the goal that the Gunners conceded could have been avoided easily.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will not be happy at all, and the Spaniard will hope that his players will learn from the mistake this afternoon.
The 1-1 draw is a blow to Arsenal’s chances of finishing in the top four of the Premier League table this season.
