It looks like David Luiz is ready to make his comeback for Arsenal.
The Brazil international has missed the last couple of games for the Gunners due to injury.
Luiz picked up a thigh injury in the defeat by Leicester City last week and sat out back-to-back wins over Dundalk and Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Arsenal are back in Europa League action tomorrow as Mikel Arteta’s host Molde at the Emirates Stadium.
And the club have confirmed that their 33-year-old defender is available for selection.
Here’s how some Arsenal fans reacted to the injury boost:
Arteta would be wise to leave Luiz out of his starting XI tomorrow night.
Let’s face it, Arsenal should have far too much for Molde and, at 33, Luiz probably isn’t going to recover like he used to.
The North Londoners host Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday and that’s a bigger game for Arteta’s side than Molde – and therefore the Spaniard should keep his bigger players in reserve until then.
