Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media believe that Harry Kane proved he’s better than Robert Lewandowski last night.

There has been a lot of debate around who is the best striker in the world over the past 12 months, and the two names that crop up more often than most are Kane and Lewandowski, and for good reason.

Lewandowski is breaking every conceivable goalscoring record in the Bundesliga, while Kane has been making history of his own, winning the most recent World Cup Golden Boot while also being the top scorer and the top assister in the Premier League last term.

England played Poland on Wednesday evening, and as you can imagine, this was billed as a battle between Kane and Lewandowski, and it’s fair to say that the Tottenham man came out on top.

Indeed, while the game finished 1-1, Kane put in a stronger performance than Lewandowski, netting a screamer from 30 yards while the Polish star failed to find the back of the net against the Three Lions.

Perhaps it’s not the best way of judging ability, but Spurs fans are seemingly convinced that Kane ended any debate about who is the best striker in the world last night.

Here’s what the Tottenham fanbase have been saying on social media…
