Fabrizio Romano has reported in his email newsletter that AS Roma striker Tammy Abraham will not move to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the January transfer window.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that despite recent speculation linking the former Chelsea striker with a switch to Arsenal, the England international will stay at Roma “for sure” beyond the January transfer window.
Romano has suggested that things could change for the 25-year-old at the end of the season.
Earlier this month, LaRoma24.it reported that Arsenal and Aston Villa are interested in signing Abraham in the January transfer window.
A report in ASRomaLive last week that Roma could sell the striker they paid £34 million (SkySports) for to Chelsea.

Understandable
In our view, we can understand why Arsenal will not be able to sign Tammy Abraham from AS Roma in the January transfer window.
Jose Mourinho’s side are aiming to finish in the top four of the Serie A table this season.
So, Roma will surely not to let go of a goalscorer, even one who has not been in great form so far this season.
Moreover, Abraham will know that once Gabriel Jesus recovers full fitness, the Brazil international striker will be back in the starting lineup.
